I live in Michigan part of each year and one of my winter joys is observing a nearby Amish community. They drive the sand roads in their horse-drawn buggies, harvest ice from ponds, send their children to one-room schoolhouses in all weather, and tap the Sugar Maple trees each March. It is a fascinating alternative way to live, one that I can only experience vicariously. These are 6 x 6" photographs, matted to 10 x 10".
