LETTING OFF STEAM

Preparing for its daily run from New Mexico into Colorado, this steam locomotive lets off a spray of steam with a hiss that feels like a dragon exhaling (and how would I know that?). There is something about the steam era of technology that seems so very alive! This is an excursion train that takes passengers over narrow gauge tracks through the mountains and high plains for miles through a landscape of the American past.
