DOUBLE HEADER

Preparing for the daily run from New Mexico into Colorado, these steam locomotives are double heading for the steep run over the mountains. Using two locomotives gives more power and is a double helping of pleasure for a steam train lover like me. This is an excursion train that takes passengers over narrow gauge tracks through the mountains and high plains for miles through a landscape of the American past.
