WATER COLOR 40: Waves of Old Sunshine
I love walking among the commercial fishing and pleasure boats in a marina, and Seattle is a great place to experience places like this. Fishermen's Terminal, in particular, has a huge fleet of fishing boats that spend their productive lives in the Bering Sea and other Alaskan waters.
For this photograph, a breeze brought up a slight chop, which made wonderful patterns of the reflected boat hulls. This was an unusual yellow hull, which contrasted dynamically with the gray and blue sky.
