This classic old brick-and-stone building sits right on the gritty waterfront of Superior, Wisconsin. It was unused during my visit, and showed the ravages of time in its covered-over doorways and windows. This was what warehouses and industrial buildings looked like in the early 20th century, when they had a certain charm that escapes modern buildings. Notice, for example, the arched windows and doors that added a lovely detail. I'm glad that buildings like this still stand.
