CIRCLE OF LIFE

Whenever I walk a trail among the California Redwoods, I am in awe of the cathedral quality of the forest. These are silent places, where thoughts turn to magnificence and inspiration. For this photograph I laid down on the forest floor with a fisheye lens to capture the whole forest around me, down to the ferns beneath the trees. I think it dramatically captures the feeling of being in that magnificent environment, and makes me long to be there once again.
