A PROFOUND SILENCE

We had just returned from a backpacking trip high in the Canadian Rockies when the weather turned. Rain and clouds moved in, creating the perfect weather for an atmospheric photograph like this. I love the way clouds swirl and dance in slow motion among the mountain crags, inviting contemplation.
