DISINTEGRATION
Time and weather change everything over time. Boards weather; pavement buckles; paint fades. Here, a rubberized strip in a parking area has been driven over hundreds of thousands of times, and the material has undergone years of weathering in rainy and sunny days. It has developed age cracks that are not so different from the wrinkles that appear on an aging human face. The lines are powerful, reminding me of both the trunk of a tree and the muscles of a man.
