WATER COLOR 3:
Autumn Passion

Color once intimidated me, so my photographs were cloaked in earthy greens and browns. As my artistic confidence has grown, so has my use of brilliant color. In this picture the surface of a river is drenched with warm colors--all reflected from the brilliant autumn maples and birches overhead. The blues are reflections of slivers of clear sky. The composition may seem abstract, but it is actually an accurate representation of what I saw on that colorful day, when I shot roll after roll of film in a blaze of photographic passion.
