| WATER COLOR 1: Rhythm of the River There are times when water seems to glow from within. We were photographing the Dosewallips River on the Olympic Peninsula. At the end of the day, this stretch of river glowed with the reflected lime green color of sunlight filtering through spring maple leaves. I used a long exposure to give the river a sense of movement. The standing waves have an elemental beauty that I find restful and meditative. Lee Rentz
