TUMBLING STONES 3: Beyond the Matrix

Stones on this remote Lake Superior beach are incredibly varied: there is a lot of blue-black basalt, many speckled granitic stones that remind me of birds' eggs, and some intense red and green stones that have embedded crystals and streaks of varied color.

For this composition I gathered red and black stones and tossed them together like red and black beans in a simmering pot.
