Someone long ago planted these pine trees in careful rows, planning ahead for a harvest long into the future. Meanwhile, the land changed hands and the pine plantation was forgotten. Another tree sprang up in their midst, growing rapidly and with wild abandon: a symbol of freedom in a place of regimentation.
