I approach the Ancestral Puebloan ruins with a feeling of reverence. The 16 Rooms Ruin has stood silent since the 13th Century, when the people previously known as the Anasazi left and went on a long migration. Now only the beauty of the spot remains, along with a bit of rock art and 700-year-old corncobs. I could only imagine the shouts of children and the families working their crops in the valley below.
