I usually take time during my trips to Seattle to go jogging around Green Lake, which makes for a nice three mile run. There is great people-watching in the park, but increasingly I am attracted by the nature. The park is beautiful in its plantings and its wildlife: while jogging I usually notice something that I would like to photograph. In this case there is a spectacular row of Sweetgum trees along the shore that takes on a painterly quality in autumn.
