Hand-crafted wooden boats are a passion for a few souls who see their elegance and workmanship in the light of history. These small boats glide across Lake Union, powered by sail or oars or a small motor, and take the owner back in time to when everything was made by hand and no plastics were involved. I love the bold paint scheme applied to this modest craft, and chose to portray it at an angle for dynamic effect.
