The Canadian Rockies are one of the most beautiful places on earth, with their blend of high, craggy peaks and deep aquamarine lakes. My favorite location is Lake O’Hara, an alpine lake in the heart of Yoho National Park, where generations of Canadians have taken inspiration from the landscape of rock and ice. Cathedral Peak is one of the tall peaks visible from Lake O’Hara, and it is stunning on a quiet autumn morning, when snow has freshly fallen.
