Industrial architecture has a kind of muscular beauty that I find appealing. Grain elevators and freight trains serve a vital function in getting America's grain to market; the complex operations to accomplish all this are like a black box filled with mystery to those of us on the outside. When I took this photograph, dense clouds were hanging over the Lake Superior shore, and just touching the top of the buildings.
