Reflections and waves play off each other, creating artistic compositions that change by the micro-second. I was photographing boats at the Center for Wooden Boats when I came upon this dynamic scene. The waterline of the boat was a brilliant reddish orange, which is my favorite color. I loved the way the arc of color interacted with the water, and notice the ripple reflections on the white hull of the boat.
