The village of Michigamme has long held a special allure for me, with its 19th century, false-front, ghost town buildings. On this winter trip I walked around the town just to get a feeling for the town in winter. Many of the houses are vacant in the winter, or permanently, and there are some buildings that are snowbound all winter. I liked the arrangement of roofs on these beautiful buildings, and would love to know more of the history they can tell.
