LOON ON IMP LAKE
When we awoke at our campsite, I looked for loons because Imp Lake is a great nesting site. I soon spotted a pair of loons swimming in front of an island. I quickly walked to a good position, then lay down on the ground so that I was at eye level ... and waited. I was rewarded with great light and reflections–once again having a great wilderness experience with these icons of the north country.
