WEAVING THE FIBERS OF FALL
When I happened upon these closely spaced Gambel Oaks on a remote Colorado road, my mind assembled an image of an intricately woven fabric incorporating trunks and golden leaves and orange grasses and a touch of green mountainside behind. So that’s what my composition set out to do. I love the parallel lines of the trunks and the intricate detail of leaves, and I think it all comes together in a visual autumn blanket that incorporates what I love about this season.
