IOWA GOTHIC

While traveling the Lincoln Highway I saw this striking house, now abandoned, atop a small ridge overlooking the highway. I loved the color, and the gothic windows that echo the shapes of the windows in the famous painting, American Gothic.

I find that traveling the old roads across America gives me some of my most personally satisfying photographs.
