BLUE HORIZON
Spring comes late to Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park. On this supposedly spring day we had already observed the tracks in snow of a famous Grizzly Bear and her cubs, and witnessed American White Pelicans floating down the Snake River in a shimmering of sun sparkles. Those were wildlife delights, but this spare landscape of a distant shore, blue with scattered light, was elegant. The white cloudy sky reflects the snowy lake surface below, leaving the blue line of trees and hills floating between ice and sky.
