SNOWY OWL AND SETTING SUN

At the end of a glorious afternoon photographing about a dozen Snowy Owls along the Pacific Coast, the unexpectedly clear weather gave us a great sunset glow. I crouched down behind dune grasses to get this atmospheric portrait of an owl getting active at sunset.
