RHYTHMS IN AN AUTUMN MEADOW

When autumn arrives, we often think of hiking through a golden aspen forest or a scarlet maple forest. I was surprised to hike through a meadow in the Canadian Rockies, where one type of grass took on a full spectrum of beautiful autumn color. For this photograph, I created a composition that has an impressionistic feel that I think nicely captures the ethereal feeling of autumn.
