Along Michigan's Lake Superior shore I have spent many pleasurable hours arranging and photographing stones. The rocks were carried in by glaciers from Canadian sources to the north; when they melted out they were tossed and turned and ground by the endless Great Lakes waves and the resultant details are stunning.
