GOLDEN CITY

The lighting was magical as the sun prepared to dip below the distant Olympic Mountains. Despite Seattle's reputation as a place of constant rain, the sun does occasionally shine with wonderful clarity.

For this photograph I wanted a more impressionistic view of the city, so I moved the camera while taking the exposure, and everything came together in this shot.
