LOG CABIN IN FALLING SNOW
Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is, and has always been, a place apart. The vast forests punctuated by rivers and waterfalls give a sense of the landscape primeval, more akin to Canada than America. Hearty pioneers and woodsmen built log cabins here among the birches and fir trees, lending a timeless element to even the human habitation of the forest.
