RAVENS PACIFIC
With the Northern California surf crashing in the background, two Ravens landed on a driftwood log high on the Pacific Ocean beach. It was a wild and primeval scene, and I worked quickly to capture the pair with my camera. The pair stayed just a brief time and arranged themselves in a perfect composition. The rest of the day we spent looking at Roosevelt Elk and salamanders hiding under logs and watching the waves run far up on the beach, so it was a memorable natural experience.
