SUNLIGHT RACING ACROSS PRUSIK PEAK

I lay on the wet ground, huddled in a down jacket, waiting for just the right light. Then a shaft of sunlight illuminated Prusik Peak after all my waiting, and this photograph was the result. It is my closest effort at channeling Ansel Adams–my earliest hero as a photographer.
