WINTER'S CLAIM ON THE FARM

During the winter I love photographing the stark and austere beauty of the snowy landscape near my winter home. There are old farm families that have lived here for generations and there are newer Amish settlers who have reclaimed some of the old farms and made them productive. Falling snow takes me back to my childhood, but also has a kind of zen beauty in simplicity.
