ADELIE PENGUIN
On a trip to Antarctica, I saw seven different species of penguins; all of which were wonderful and exotic. The Adelie Penguins were far and away the cutest penguins: with their small size, small beaks, and goggly eyes, they look like little stuffed toys. Don’t let the cuteness fool you, however, because this species is so tough that they are one of only two kinds of penguins that endure the fierce Antarctic winter, feeding among the icebergs.
