POETRY IN RAVAGEMENT
What struck me about this old mining town was how much the residents (no longer just ghosts) cared about it. The town was all privately owned, but there were artifacts set out all over town for visitors and residents to enjoy. This old truck, perhaps dating from the late 1940s (correct me if I’m wrong), exhibited wonderful layers of old paint that looked as if a modern artist had been at work with brushes and scrapers.
