ALONG THE HIGH ROAD TO TAOS

I visited the San Jose de Gracia de Las Trampas mission church during the day and decided to return when the sky was clear for some night pictures. It worked out well, with the vast starry sky above and with the church lit by street lights in the foreground.

This 1780 church is a classic example of Spanish Colonial Mission architecture and is still an active Roman Catholic parish today.
