UNDER A SPREADING MAPLE TREE

I love photographing the texture of falling snow, and found that winter in Michigan is the perfect place to be ecstatic! This farmhouse and tree were just one of scores of photographs I took on one special day, when snow fell for hours (though it didn’t always stick on the ground because the temperature hovered just at or above freezing).
